Sweet and Spicy Soy Glazed Edamame 10 Mintues


Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen edamame
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. Prepare edamame according to package instructions
  2. Mix soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes in a bowl
  3. Heat canola in a small saucepan over med-low heat. Add garlic and ginger once hot, and cook for 1 to 2 minutes
  4. Add soy mix and raise heat to med. Cook until reduced, about 5-7 minutes
  5. Add edamame, coat, and serve.
