Classic Manhattan 5 Minutes or less
- crushed ice
- 2.5 oz Rye Whiskey (Bulleit)
- .75 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 2 Dashes of Angostura bitters
- 1 twist of orange peel (taking care to make it thin)
- In a rocks glass, fill 1/3 to to 1/2 with crushed ice.
- Measure and pour your Rye Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, and Bitters directly into the glass.
- Stir for no more than 30 seconds.
- Twist the orange peel to release oils, lightly rim the glass with it, and toss it into your drink (optional).
